The Climate&Strategy Foundation provides strategic advisory and support to companies in the areas of carbon footprint calculation, decarbonization strategy development, and building business resilience to climate-related risks. The Foundation’s experts accompany clients at every stage of the energy transition, from the launch of the project through to transparent communication of actions tailored to diverse stakeholder groups.

An essential and widely appreciated element of the Foundation’s projects is education, particularly at the level of executive and supervisory boards, but also across entire teams.

Work with large enterprises supports the Foundation’s statutory mission, which includes public education on climate change, carbon footprinting, and corporate responsibility. The Foundation also plays an active role in combating climate disinformation and greenwashing. In this area, it has published numerous expert reports and launched several initiatives, including: Climate Journalist Working Groups, the Climate Knowledge Base, the Poland for Climate platform, the Journalist for the Planet award (granted jointly with Radio ZET since 2023), and the website www.dziennikarzedlaplanety.pl

In addition, the Foundation has developed a free, innovative carbon footprint calculator tailored to the needs of small and medium-sized enterprises, enabling calculations across all three emission Scopes.

The Climate&Strategy Foundation is a member of the Polish Climate Coalition, the European Responsible Investment Network, and actively participates in the global Climate Action Against Disinformation initiative.

We combine analytical precision with a deep understanding of the climate crisis and business realities.

We believe that change starts with concrete action. We help companies calculate their carbon footprint, develop emission reduction strategies, and communicate their implementation effectively. As a not-for-profit organization, we actively counter greenwashing and climate disinformation while delivering a wide range of educational initiatives.

The Foundation is powered by a team of experts with extensive experience in business, public administration, and the NGO sector, united by a shared mission: to take meaningful action for the climate.

Responsibility:
We are fully aware that our actions have an impact. That’s why we take full responsibility for them, planning and delivering projects with care for ourselves, our children, and future generations.

Integrity:
Our analytical work is grounded in data and scientific knowledge from recognized experts and research institutions. We rely exclusively on verified data and methodologies, ensuring that our work is credible and effective.

Curiosity and courage:
These qualities drive us as we tackle complex climate challenges.

Inspiration and innovation:
We draw inspiration from our team, from the latest scientific advances, and from global best practices.

Consistency:
We believe that meaningful climate action, whether social, political, or business-related, is only possible through consistent, systematic effort. That’s why our advisory and educational work is based on tailored strategies, implemented with attention to detail and ongoing regularity.

How we work

The following principles form the foundation of our Foundation’s operations and ensure that we uphold the highest standards in all of our activities:

  1. We are a data-driven organization. We are meticulous in ensuring that the data we reference is reliable, clearly presented, and rigorously verified. We recognize that in producing reports and analyses, we are also generating data. We safeguard data integrity and adhere to the highest standards to ensure the quality and accuracy of all information we produce.
  1. We carefully and responsibly select the projects we pursue. We do not cooperate with commercial entities in the fossil fuel sector, and any engagement with related organizations is subject to strict ethical review and alignment with our climate goals. All projects undergo an internal anti-greenwashing audit.
  1. Our educational and climate communication efforts are held to high standards and grounded in responsibility. We prioritize translating knowledge and methodologies into clear, accessible language and engaging, actionable content to support implementation. We are not afraid to address difficult or complex topics.
  1. In our collaborations and internal work, we follow the five principles of the GHG Protocol, ensuring that our carbon footprint calculations are accurate, transparent, comparable, complete, and based on a documented methodology.
  1. We anchor climate action in specific contexts: business, local government, and more, to address real-world problems and propose solutions tailored to actual conditions.
  1. We support the Child Rights in Business Charter and join organizations that respect children’s rights to privacy and image control. Accordingly, we do not publish identifiable images of children in any materials created by our Foundation.

Partnership approach

Our approach to working with partners is guided by the following principles:

  1. We treat our partners with the utmost respect and a genuine commitment to their success. We share knowledge and tools to build their capabilities and enable them to take further independent, effective climate action.
  1. We are a not-for-profit organization, which means a significant portion of our experts’ time and work is dedicated to education, as well as to creating free and accessible solutions aimed at reducing emissions in companies and cities.
  1. We prioritize long-term relationships. Whether we’re working with businesses, municipalities, NGOs, or grassroots initiatives, we provide support not only during the project but also after its completion. We build our partnerships on credibility and trust.
  1. We embrace the challenges of even the most ambitious projects. Whether working with demanding industries, cities facing unique emission challenges, or unconventional stakeholder groups, we offer expert support at every stage of the emissions calculation and reduction process.
  1. We believe that even small, well-executed projects can yield meaningful results. We are always happy to welcome returning partners with new questions and ideas. We’re open to scaling our efforts, knowing that impactful initiatives often start from modest beginnings.
