We run parallel projects that provide both practical support to companies in their decarbonization processes and initiatives aimed at strengthening the information resilience of the state and society.
We develop tools and solutions used by businesses across the country, create publications and educational resources that shape standards for climate communication, and deliver training programs for the media, local government, and civil society organizations. At the same time, we engage in public consultations, co-creating directions for climate-related regulation, reporting, and communication.
Through cooperation with national and international partners, we operate at the local, sectoral, and European levels, contributing to the development of tools, policies, and coalitions necessary for an effective energy transition.
Below, we outline our areas of activity and key initiatives, present our flagship projects, and demonstrate our impact in numbers.
We train decision-makers, opinion leaders, and representatives of public administration and large companies. More than 500 leaders have already benefited from our materials, building climate awareness and gaining essential, up-to-date knowledge from leading experts.
We work on developing standards and media infrastructure that strengthen resilience to climate disinformation. We train editorial teams, support journalistic innovation, and develop initiatives that make climate integrity the new norm in Polish media.
We support companies in transitioning from reactive crisis management to the conscious building of resilience. We develop practical tools and knowledge that help organizations better understand and prepare for challenges related to climate change, the energy transition, and disinformation.
We support businesses, including thousands of SMEs, in reliably identifying and reducing emissions. We provide tools and knowledge that enable companies to meet EU regulatory requirements, increase resilience, and build a competitive advantage in a low-emission economy.
We support entrepreneurs, local administrations, journalists, and farmers – groups that play a crucial role in the course and communication of the climate transition. We run training sessions, dialogues, advisory programs, and networking initiatives that build understanding of change, provide essential knowledge foundations, and strengthen resilience to disinformation.
We develop reports, guides, and training materials that help companies, media, and institutions better understand the challenges of the climate transition. Our numerous publications and webinars, as well as the Climate Knowledge Base we run, support skills development and increase access to credible information.
We regularly represent the voice of civil society in the most important discussions on climate policy, communication, and the energy transition. Our experts participate in conferences, industry panels, and cross-sector meetings, strengthening public debate with reliable knowledge, analysis, and the perspective of non-governmental organizations.
We actively participate in consultations and policy-shaping processes related to climate policy. Among others, we supported the UOKiK pre-consultations on the directive concerning greenwashing and took part in parliamentary sessions on the role of media in the planetary crisis. As part of the NGO Council for the Polish Presidency of the EU Council, we co-develop recommendations on climate and information policies.
We collaborate with organizations in Poland and abroad to jointly accelerate the transition. We are active members of the Climate Coalition, ERIN (European Responsible Investment Network), and Climate Action Against Disinformation. We also participate in the work of the Green Weimar Triangle on the future of European industry and develop partnerships, including with the National Chamber of Commerce.
Our initiatives are research-based and consultation-driven, designed in response to the real needs of our audiences. We regularly measure the effectiveness of our activities through surveys, evaluations, and analysis of changes in participants’ awareness and knowledge. We gather feedback and insights, enabling us to continuously improve our programs and tools.
The “Resilient and Strong Poland” project supports businesses in transitioning from reactive crisis management to the conscious building of resilience, understood not only as protection against losses, but also as the ability to adapt and strengthen organizations in conditions of uncertainty.
As part of the project, we created a knowledge hub – a centralized space that brings together key resources supporting the development of business resilience. It is a practical platform for those who want to better prepare their organizations for challenges related to climate change, the energy transition, and disinformation. On the platform, users can download the report “Resilient and Strong Poland: Strengthening Corporate Resistance to Climate Change, Energy Challenges, and Disinformation” explore a map of climate, energy, and information risks, and access expert recommendations as well as carefully curated knowledge resources.
The project was initiated and is implemented by the Climate&Strategy Foundation with financial support from the ORLEN Foundation.

The “Journalists for the Planet” initiative was launched in response to the growing problem of climate disinformation. Its goal is to expand the reach and prestige of climate journalism and to foster cross-newsroom collaboration in support of climate action. The website www.dziennikarzedlaplanety.pl features profiles of journalists who possess strong knowledge and understanding of climate change and who, in their daily work, courageously address topics related to its consequences while building awareness of the issue among specific audiences, including entrepreneurs.
In partnership with Radio ZET, we established Poland’s first “Journalist for the Planet” award, introduced as a new category within the prestigious Andrzej Woyciechowski Award competition. Its purpose is to recognize journalists who demonstrate climate responsibility in their daily work, combining in-depth understanding of the subject with professional integrity and sensitivity.

To support small and medium-sized enterprises on their path to reducing emissions, we have developed a free carbon footprint calculator. The tool enables companies to calculate their organizational carbon footprint across all three scopes, in line with the GHG Protocol methodology.
After completing the calculation, users receive, among other things, a detailed report presenting the results in clear charts, as well as an overview of the company’s carbon footprint drivers. To date, more than 2,000 companies have used the tool.

In January 2025, we joined forces with the National Chamber of Commerce to support companies in the climate transition and emissions reduction process by establishing the Economy for Climate Forum.
The coalition aims to develop political, legal, and social conditions that enable effective climate protection while maintaining the competitiveness of the Polish economy. The Forum brings together large companies operating in Poland with extensive supply chains, representing a significant share of Polish entrepreneurs. In this way, the Economy for Climate Forum serves as a strong business voice on climate transition and a platform for exchanging experience and knowledge.
Companies interested in joining the initiative are invited to contact fgk@kig.pl.
