The team of the Climate&Strategy Foundation spoke to presidents of the twelve largest Polish cities on the impact of current European Green Deal policies on the Polish urban landscape.
As part of our regular cooperation with the Union of Polish Metropolises, we have organized workshops for key officials responsible for the environment, climate and investments.
During the workshop “The European Green Deal for cities. New tasks and funding opportunities in real estate: what does it mean for cities?” we discussed clean air, energy efficiency, renewable energy, clean heating and integration with clean transport.
During the workshop entitled “Non-grant investment financing instruments for the implementation of climate and energy goals” we talked about funds for the preparation of ELENA, URBIS, and European Urban Instrument projects. Cooperation with the private sector (energy effect contracting – ESCO) was also discussed, as well as seeking for potential investors and international partners.
